Lynne Singleton, PA-C, EMT-P is a pediatric critical care physician assistant at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She began her career in EMS in 2005 and continues to stay involved in EMS education, protocol development, and system improvement efforts. Lynne has taught paramedic students, contributed to regional EMS initiatives, and maintains a strong interest in the intersection of prehospital medicine and critical care. Much of her work focuses on the difficult decisions providers face when protocols, patient needs, and real-world constraints collide. She is particularly interested in the ethical challenges of emergency care and in supporting EMS providers as they navigate high-stakes decisions in imperfect environments.
