Dr. Doug George

Dr. Doug George is currently an Assistant Professor at The University of Vermont Lanier College of Medicine and a Prehospital and Emergency Attending Physician at The University of Vermont Health Network. Dr. George serves as a Flight Physician and the Medical Director for The University of Vermont Healthnet Critical Care Transport Team. Additionally, he is the Associated District Medical Advisor for Vermont EMS District 3. Dr. George is an operational physician/ medical director for Vermont’s Urban Search and Rescue Task Force-1 and provides tactical medical support for multiple federal, state and local agencies in the region. Dr. George is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and he completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center. After residency, Dr. George trained as an EMS and Flight Fellow Physician at The University of New Mexico.
