FP-C Review Course
This 2-day (16-hour) course is an IBSC-approved FP-C review that focuses on core FP-C domains such as advanced physiology, ventilator and hemodynamic management, cardiac and trauma emergencies, and high-risk transport considerations This course uses concept-based teaching, case discussion, and application questions to help close knowledge gaps and improve exam readiness.
Mastering Airway Management: The Parker County Experience
This course is an 8-hour hands on course and includes lunch. This course will be held at CareFlite's headquarters in Irving and will be held in conjunction with Parker County Hospital District. Airway management is a cornerstone of prehospital and emergency medicine. Being able to apply the latest evidence-based airway management strategies with competence and confidence is paramount for successful clinical outcomes. This course is designed to equip healthcare providers with the critical skills needed to assess, secure and manage airways in emergency situations from a system with a 96% first pass success rate. Fundamental and advanced techniques including the use of endotracheal intubation, supraglottic airway devices, ventilator strategies and difficult airway techniques will be covered. Attendees will learn from case-based presentations using real body cam footage and a combination of fun and engaging lectures and hands on skills practice.
