Ronna G. Miller, MD retired from UT Southwestern Department of Emergency Medicine (EMS Division) and the UT Southwestern/Parkland BioTel EMS System after almost 22 years in online & offline medical direction, education, research and community outreach. With more than 4 decades of healthcare experience and a unique background and board certification in General Surgery, HazMat technician certification, a founding role in the National Disaster Life Support Foundation curricula, and state and national recognition as an EMS educator, she is driven by a passion for pediatric EMS, trauma, disaster medicine, weapons of mass effect, high-consequence infectious diseases, evidence-based practice, and resuscitation.
