Nanci Nagel

Nanci Nagel is a former CareFlite Nurse/Paramedic. While much of her career has been spent in Emergency Services and Intensive Care Medicine, she spent multiple years responding to and developing medical disaster response teams at the regional, state, national and international levels. She worked closely with Texas DHS and regional officials to develop some of the protocols in use today. With her boots on the ground experiences, she helped revise the national disaster life support classes and has been considered a subject matter expert in medical disaster response. Nanci has a Doctorate in Health Sciences and she loves to teach at all levels. She is an assistant clinical professor at two universities and she works reduced hours in a dual position as a CV and Neuro ICU subspecialist. She spends most of her free time blowing bubbles in Costa Rica.
