Dr. Noorjahan (Nora) Ali

Dr. Noorjahan (Nora) Ali is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Neonatal‐ Perinatal medicine at UT Southwestern and board‐certified practicing neonatologist. She attended medical school at New York Medical college, completed pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and her neonatal fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. After graduating from fellowship, she joined the faculty at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Ali's research focus is on special consideration in neonatal resuscitation including resuscitation of neonates outside the delivery room and resuscitation of infants with congenital anomalies in particular those with congenital heart defects. She is actively involved in the Children’s Hospital Neonatal Consortium as the co‐chair of resuscitation focus group and member of cardiac focus group. She is also a member of the AAP NRP‐PALS steering committee.
